Global Project management Coordinator

Dr. Ololade G. Adewole is the global project management monitoring and evaluation coordinator of the Boy Child Empowerment Project.

A dynamic development demographer with excellent analytical, leadership and communication skills. She holds a PhD in Demography and Social Statistics from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. She conducts innovative and evidence-based research that proffers solutions to global development policies and challenges in areas of fertility, poverty, inequality, health inequity, gender issues, population and development, Science, Technology and Innovation. She has a proven track record in designing and implementing successful programs to inform policies to aid strategic plans for advocacy and solution-based research on SDG goals and targets.

Her current projects focus on population Issues and the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). 

She led international projects, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to budget. She was a principal investigator in the AERC-OXFAM-IDRC Collaborative Research Project on Gender Differentials in Access to Medical Services during COVID-19 Lock-Down: Insights from Nigeria, a collaborative project on the Impact of COVID-19 Pandemic on Livelihoods in Africa and a co-investigator on the Differential Impacts of COVID-19 Pandemic on Education in Nigeria: Implications for Policy Review in the context of the AERC Collaborative project on Human Capital Development in Africa. She was a coordinator and technical team member to many projects including Nigeria’s National Science Technology and Innovation Indicator Survey; Nigeria’s Research and Experimental Development in Tertiary Institutions and Research Institutes; Education Research Network for West and Central Africa (ERNWACCA) Project on Assessing the Postgraduate Occupations of Women in Science and Technology; Assessment of Evidence Literacy Level of Policy Makers in the Utilisation of STI Indicators in Policy-Making Process in Nigeria.  

She has publications in non-technical and technical reports in reputable journals and has presented papers at local and international conferences, seminars and workshops. She has worked for many years in the research institute and collaborated with diverse teams, fostering successful programs for evidence-based decision-making
